    For a brief period 20/11/24 and21/11/24 patients may have received a 24 hour appointment reminder triggered through the Hero platform. These reminders were: Sent by email, to the correct patient, for the correct slot type Sent for any EMIS slot types configured within the Hero platform. How did this happen? Until now, we've always sent these mailers for appointments booked online via Hero's self-booking links. However, as you may have previously seen in our recent product update newsletter, we're currently in the process of developing our reminder functionality to reduce DNA rates - and for this, we intend to send reminders for EMIS booked appointments. We confess, we got ahead of ourselves and mistakenly released this feature early. As soon as we were alerted this morning, we rolled back the error.
